The specific objective and purposes of this Corporation shall be:
To provide needed access to comprehensive dental and eye care to underserved children on Medicaid and ALL-KIDS insurance.
To provide facilities, staffing and assist in the cost of the academic and clinical training of the University of Alabama senior dental students, pediatric dental residents and/or any specialty dental residents that the University indicates.
To actively participate in primary clinical research regarding local and national pediatric dental issues.
To provide oral health screenings for Alabama’s pre-school and school aged children.
To provide dental education to Alabama’s pre-school and school aged children.
To provide immediate dental treatment to any Alabama child that presents regardless of ability to pay.
Secondarily, we will:
Provide access to care for any non-English speaking person.
Provide access to care to any person that presents to us with urgent needs that may be a patient of record of a non -Sarrell dentist, for palative care of needs and refer back to their primary dental provider.
Provide pro bono selected dental services on a weekly basis for adults with no ability to pay.
Provide funding to assist any 501(c) 3 federally qualified Alabama based free adult dental clinic as we deem appropriate.
